Widescreen กับ Ubuntu 6.06

พยายามอยู่นานกับจอ 19" Widescreen ในที่สุดก็ได้วิธีทำดังนี้

 

แก้ /etc/X11/xorg.conf:

 Section "Monitor"
    Identifier    "SyncMaster"
    Option        "DPMS"
    HorizSync    30-130
    VertRefresh    56-160
    Modeline     "1440x900_60.00" 106.47 1440 1520 1672 1904 900 901 904 932 -HSync +Vsync
    DisplaySize     1440 900
EndSection

จากนั้นก็เปลี่ยนใน Section "Screen" ตรง SubSection "Display" ของ Depth ที่ต้องการ

    SubSection "Display"
        Depth        24
        Modes        "1440x900_60.00" "1024x768"
    EndSubSection

แล้วก็ Restart GDM

เท่านี้เป็นอันใช้ได้
